Week 10 Projects
This week I worked on creating lanterns, the lanterns are made out of pages I did not use for my visual journal. each one is different and special. my lanterns are very meaningful to me because each one expresses my feelings and ideas. This may have been one of my favorite projects to create . Sometimes my favorite things are the less than perfect ones. Some people may look at these and see a hanging piece of junk. But when I look at them I see beauty.

I especially like the bangles. They remind me of wind chimes. You should research Chinese/Japanese lantern festivals. I think they coincide with the new year. The lanterns have specific meaning regarding self and change, which makes it an interesting form to work with, especially as a visual journal!
